"Digital natives" is a universal understanding of children in the digital age. To accurately grasp the connotation of the concept of digital natives, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between human and technology, the nature of digital natives and the growth process of children in depth. This paper holds that Husserl's theory of lifeworld and Don Ihde's relationship between human and technology can be used as an important reference for understanding digital natives, and the theory of children's cognitive development stage described by Piaget provides an important support for the understanding of the growth of digital natives, as digital natives also have their own growth stages. Then, it is concluded that the essential attribute of digital natives originates from the historicity of their rich lifeworld and the potential embodiment of the "original creature" of information technology, and that the causes of children as digital natives can be analyzed from three periods of cognitive development.
