In the 21st century, the highly integrated development of science and technology and the complex diversification of practical problems have posed great challenges to the traditional subject-based education. It is the educational vision of developed countries to cultivate talents with interdisciplinary qualities, promote students' all-round development and enhance national competitiveness. However, in reality, there are still many problems and difficulties in the design and implementation of interdisciplinary learning. In order to clarify the interdisciplinary concept, help teachers to better understand interdisciplinary and design interdisciplinary teaching activities, this study summarizes the background of interdisciplinary learning and the importance and necessity of implementing interdisciplinary learning. This paper proposes the implementation approach and multiple guarantees of interdisciplinary learning under the integration of information technology. At the same time, it introduces an interdisciplinary case and analyzes it, in order to promote the development of interdisciplinary learning in the field of education in China, and to provide ideas for designing and developing an interdisciplinary learning system adapted to China's national conditions.
