The construction of learning society and lifelong education system is one of the important goals of education reform in the new era. However, in theory, some misunderstandings still exist among the public, such as the narrow understanding of the "whole" educational objects, the single inference of the "diversity" educational content, the stereotyped thinking of the "autonomous" educational forms, the dualistic hypothesis of the "compatibility" of the educational system and the misinterpreted value judgment of the "sociality" of the educational function. In practice, based on data analysis, it is found that the construction of our learning society and lifelong educational system is faced with such problems as weak basic conditions of development, slow construction of policies and regulations, insufficient development of organizations and institutions, imbalance in the proportion of human resources allocation and insufficient modern technical support. Therefore, the construction of learning society and lifelong educational system in China must make full use of information technology to promote the systematic reform of institutional reform, technological platform innovation and support optimization.
