With the continuous development of educational informationization in our country, more and more educational data is accumulating into an intangible "asset" in education, which contains great value. The mining of educational data is of great significance to the development of education and the whole society as well. At present, teachers' data literacy becomes a great obstacle to the development of educational data. This paper investigates the current situation of teachers' data literacy at home and abroad, and then explains its concept and connotation. In addition, this paper builds up a model of teacher data literacy based on four aspects: consciousness, basic knowledge, core skills and thinking method. Finally, four suggestions are put forward for the implementation of the education of teacher data literacy in China.
