Students' learning mood and learning effects would be affected by teachers' teaching language. While most learning resources in MOOCs are presented in video form, teachers' language in videos is more important. Therefore, this study selects 304 MOOC courses and records the basic information(including institutional characteristics, subject classification, course type, teachers' gender, teaching age, professional titles, types and teaching method)and language presentation skills of the instructors, and then explore the effects of basic information on instructors' presentation skills by using factor analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and mean test. It is found that the difference of institutional characteristics, course type, and teacher's teaching age and teacher type would affect teachers' presentation skills in video, and make obvious differences. Different subject classification and teaching methods only result in the difference of teacher's presentation skills in video. Based on those findings, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the development of MOOC curriculum and MOOC teacher's selection and training.
