As an integral part of China's lifelong learning system, adult colleges are faced with the realistic challenges of transformation and upgrading under the requirements of national educational modernization. The implementation of blended teaching reform through the Internet is one of strategies for the transformation of adult colleges, and the understanding and action of school leaders is crucial to the transformation and development of the school. This paper takes an adult college experiencing blended teaching reform to transform and develop as an example, conducts a two-year field follow-up study for the implementation of the blended teaching reform, and proposes a strategic model for school leaders to promote the blended teaching reform in adult colleges. The connotation of that model includes understanding the current situation of teaching staff and school development in adult colleges; establishing the blended curriculum of academic degree and non-academic degree to promote students' learning; promoting the blended teaching reform through multiple measures to guide teachers as the key; distinguishing different stages of blended teaching reform with teachers' different abilities and continuously promoting the reform in accordance with different ideas and important points; and supporting blended teaching reform through management guarantee, good quality and development leverage.
