With the increasing popularity and rapid development of mobile devices and internet, the teaching approaches of higher education have changed fundamentally. Mobile learning is bringing great opportunities and challenges to students and teachers. In order to improve the relevance and effectiveness of the instructional design of mobile learning, it is crucial to study how students' learning style preferences affect their mobile learning attitudes and behaviors. Taking the course of "Literary Criticism" as an example, mobile teaching has been designed and implemented, and an empirical study is conducted on how learning style preferences affect students' mobile learning attitudes and behaviors through questionnaires and mobile platform process data for more than four months. The research results show that students prefer the learning style with concrete experience and reflective observations, and many students are experiential, imaginative and reflective; Students with learning style of abstract conceptualization will affect students' attitudes towards mobile learning; The learning style of active experiment will affect the number of students' visits to mobile learning platform and the library, which has an indirect effect on students' final grades. In order to improve the teaching effect of mobile learning, teachers need to increase the number of students' visits to mobile learning platforms, create a learning environment for students to experience actively, and enhance the cooperation between active and decisive students and other students.
