虚拟现实(Virtual Reality,简称VR)技术的快速发展与便携设备的普及,使VR教育游戏应用于课堂教学活动成为可能。如何将学科内容与学习过程融入VR游戏情节,为学习者提供沉浸式、交互式的学习体验,同时,有效激发学习者的学习兴趣和动机,是VR教育游戏设计开发和教师教学实践关注的重点。研究选择小学四年级英语课本的部分知识点,基于HTC VIVE设备,设计开发了全沉浸式VR英语学习游戏,并在某小学进行了应用实践。实证研究结果表明,VR教育游戏应用于教学活动,学习者的学习动机受评价反馈、技术可用性、交互性、沉浸感、构象性等多重因素的影响;评价反馈和技术可用性是影响学习动机的根本因素;沉浸感和构想性直接影响学习动机,并在研究模型中具有重要的中介效应;交互性通过影响沉浸感受,间接影响学习动机。


【英文摘要】:

The rapid development of Virtual Reality(VR) technology and the popularity of portable devices make it possible for VR-based educational game to be used in classroom teaching. How to integrate the subject content and learning process into VR-based games, provide immersive and interactive learning experience for learners, and stimulate learners' learning interest and motivation effectively is the focus of the design of VR-based educational games and teachers' teaching practice. Based on HTC VIVE device, a fully immersive VR-based English learning game has been developed and applied in a primary school. Empirical research results show that when VR-based educational games are applied in teaching activities, learners' learning motivation is affected by multiple factors such as evaluation and feedback, technical availability, interaction, immersion and imagination. Among them, evaluation and feedback and technical availability are the fundamental factors that affect learning motivation. Immersion and imagination directly affect learning motivation and play an important mediating role in the research model. Interaction influences learning motivation indirectly through immersion.
