Performance evaluation, a research hotspot of educational informationization in China, is very crucial to promote and lead the development of educational informationization. However, current researches on performance evaluation of educational informationization are confined to the perspective of "management". Most of them belong to appraisal evaluation referring to construction level and results and few are concerned about the performance evaluation in the context of "governance". Guided by the idea of educational governance, this study puts forward the concept of performance evaluation of informationization governance, and sums up the problems in the process of informationization governance in colleges and universities. Then this study constructs a performance evaluation index system of educational informationization governance from four aspects, namely management decision-making, project construction and maintenance, system design and performance evaluation. This study broadens the horizon of performance evaluation of educational informationization, and provides a frame of reference to diagnose the advantages and disadvantages of promotion mechanism of educational informationization.
