The issue of teacher development in the new era is related to the direction and overall situation of education reform, and to build a "high-quality professional teaching staff" is an important task. With the purpose of exploring the path and countermeasures of artificial intelligence to promote teacher development, and based on the educational background and the research status of teacher development in the new era, this paper analyzes the internal causes and mechanisms of artificial intelligence to promote teacher development, clarifies the contents and measures of artificial intelligence to promote teacher development. It also puts forward specific methods and paths from the perspectives of environment construction, teaching reform, capacity improvement, balanced development, and evaluation innovation, and the corresponding countermeasures, in order to provide powerful support for promoting the in-depth promotion and innovative application of AI in the field of teacher development and the high-quality development and change of education.
