The construction of "Smart Education Demonstration Zone" is an innovative and leading demonstration project proposed by "Education Informatization 2.0" for regional education reform, aiming to explore the replicable reform experience and practical cases through mechanism innovation and demonstration application. Based on research and case studies, this paper summarizes the achievements and features of the construction of smart education demonstration zones, reflects on the challenges facing the sustainable development of regional smart education, and proposes the "four beams and eight pillars" to construct a new ecosystem of smart education, with a view to providing reference for policymakers, practitioners, and technology developers in the field of smart education.
