随着对教育游戏评价研究的反思,出现了游戏学习分析(Games Learning Analytics,简称GLA)。文章旨在揭示GLA的研究现状与趋势。运用文献研究法,梳理了GLA的缘起与特征后认为:GLA是以揭示并提升游戏化学习成效为目的,在教育游戏过程中隐秘地收集、分析相关数据,并将分析的结果可视化呈现的技术;数据收集、分析与可视化是其核心。研究发现:与“基于ADAGE游戏遥测框架的评价内容与收集过程标准化”相比,“遵从严肃游戏学习者交互模型与xAPI严肃游戏配置文件进行游戏交互动作与数据格式标准化”,将使跨教育游戏间收集数据更加简单灵活;独立式游戏学习分析系统是追求个性化分析与可视化可期的研究方向。归纳了GLA的典型应用,分析了其面临的挑战及可能的发展。最后指出GLA是教育游戏融入课堂的核心要素。


【英文摘要】:

With the reflection of educational game assessment, game learning analytics (GLA) has emerged. This study aims to reveal the research status and trends of GLA. Through literature research method, the origins and characteristics of GLA are summarized. It is found that GLA is a technology that aims to reveal and enhance the effectiveness of game-based learning, and it secretly collects and analyzes relevant data in the course of educational games and visualizes the results of analysis. Data collection, data analysis and data visualization are the core of GLA. Also, compared with the way standardizing the evaluation content and collection process through ADAGE game telemetry framework, the way complying with the serious game learner interaction model and the xAPI serious game profile to standardize game interactions and data formats will make data collection across educational games easier and more flexible. The independent game learning analytics system is a promising research direction for personalized analysis and visualization. Then, typical applications of GLA have been concluded, challenges and potential development of GLA have been analyzed. Finally, the study points out that GLA is a key element in promoting the integration of educational games into the classroom.
