在课堂教学高度多媒体化以及PPT普遍使用的今天,分析PPT的意义建构及探索如何有效设计PPT,促进课堂教学,是多模态研究者和教育学者面临的重要任务。因此,本研究系统考察了高校英语专业普通语言学课程获奖PPT的设计及其体现的教学原则。本文首次将语类理论引入PPT课件分析,对591张课件进行了量化分析。研究发现:(1)语言学课程PPT课件已具有大体一致的多模态语类结构;(2)课件主要体现了以教师为中心的知识传授,而对学生的分析和应用能力重视不足。鉴于此,本文提出了以多元读写教学法为指导原则的PPT设计,以期为高校教师更好地设计PPT课件,提高语言学以及学术英语教学提供有效的理论与方法指导。


【英文摘要】:

As multimedia and in particular PowerPoint are frequently used in classroom, to analyze how meaning is constructed in PowerPoint and explore how to design PowerPoint effectively to enhance classroom teaching becomes an important task of researchers and educators. Thus, this paper investigates the design of and pedagogical principles behind award-winning PowerPoint of Linguistics for English majors in college. In this paper, genre theory is used to analyze 591 slides of Linguistics. The results indicate that the PowerPoint of Linguistics has consistent multimodal generic structure, and generally teacher-centered transmission of knowledge is embodied, while attention paid to students' competence is inadequate. Finally, this paper proposes a PPT design based on multiliteracy pedagogy in order to help teachers in college design better PPT courseware and provide effective theories and approaches to guide teaching of Linguistics and English for Academic Purposes in general.
