To analyze the development mechanism of MOOC learning analytics deeply is the premise of optimizing its framework. This paper studies the development mechanism of MOOC learning analytics from three dimensions, namely purpose, object and technology. In this paper, multivariate learning analytics framework of MOOC is presented, which unifies the retention of MOOC learners, pass rate and learning outcome prediction mechanism in order to provide theoretical foundation and practical references for the standardization of MOOC learning analytics.
